Managing RSV

Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) infection is very common in kids, but it affects adults as well. And certain adults — such as older adults, those with heart or lung disease, and those with a weakened immune system — are at higher risk of a serious case of RSV. For example, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates that each year more than 60,000 older adults in the United States are hospitalized due to RSV, and more than 6,000 die of the infection.
